Since the first Naturfašnik, organized in 2011, the Croatian Natural History Museum has strived to provide its visitors with a pleasant, cheerful and interesting environment during the Carnival, with many costumed characters related to natural history. All masks that owe their inspiration to nature are welcome, and they are also warmly welcomed by the Museum’s costumed employees: one time it's the Krapina Neanderthals, another time it's Gandalf and his gang, third time it's birds, flowers, mice or rabbits...
